Heh... I was once sent a list of dogs, ranking from the most intelligent down, and to my great surprise aussies were like 45th. Even newfs were supposedly more intelligent. I felt deeply insulted, of course ;)

Yes--and the Labrador Anti-Defamation League. I told them that censoring my species-ist and breed-ist jokes was an infringement of my first amendment rights. Not to mention a denial of objective reality--there's just no getting around it: border collies are a superior race/breed/species! I just wish there were more of them holding political office. The world would be a better place.
